This is an Annual Placement Exercise for Secondary Two students going on to Secondary Three. Students are advised to choose their subject combinations based on their interest, ability and aptitude. Placement is dependent on academic merit and availability of places in the option.
You are reminded to print a copy of the Confirmation Slip and submit it to the General Office in school by 2nd Nov 2011, 5 pm.

Note
1. Option will not be offered if the number of pupils who opted for it is less than 20.
2. Offer of 10 subjects at the GCE 'O' Level examination is pending approval by MOE. For Options B1, B2 & B4, pupils are not encouraged to offer an additional Elective subject given the demands placed by these Options.
3. Humanities subjects that can be used as Relevant Subject 1 (R1) in the computation of L1R5 include Combined Humanities (SS+E.Geog, SS+E.Hist, SS+E.ELit, SS+E.CLit), English Literature, Chinese Literature, Geography, Higher Music, L3 - Malay Special Programme and BI. L3 subjects, other than Malay Special Programme and BI are not considered Humanities subjects. Although Drama is categorised as a Humanities subject, it cannot be used to replace the Relevant Subject 1 (R1) in the computation of L1R5
Pre-requisite/Requirements
1. Higher Music, L3 and Drama are offered to pupils with the required talents and skills. To offer these subjects,they must have been offered these subjects at the Lower Secondary level.
2. Approval to offer Art, Drama, F&N, 'O' Level Music and PE is subject to the pupil having met the school selection criteria for these subjects.
3. Only pupils offering HCL can opt for Chinese Literature.
4. PE is offered to all pupils.
